• 50 years professional illustrator in Fashion Industry of New York City.
• Fine Art water color paintings exhibited and sold in NYC.
• Education: Okla. U., Colo. U., Catan-Rose Inst. Art in NYC & the Art Students League of NYC, as well as the Army Air Corps Photography School, Lowry Field, Colo.
• World War II veteran - Served in CBI, Photo lab technician and artist.
• Presently a resident of the Armed Force Retirement Home ("The Soldiers' Home") in Washington DC
• Served two terms as Chairman of the Residents' Advisory Council and involved in Home activities and committees. Art for departments and fellow residents; and a humorous "resident" newsletter.
• First Prize in "Young at Art" exhibition.
• Exhibited and sold at the Pentagon and Department of Defense agencies
• Water color and oil paintings displayed in the gallery of the AFRH Art Studios and areas of the AFRH.

An aside:

I have an art studio at the AFRH that beats any I ever had during my long career! I love it. I love this Home.
